Brian425 0 #1 July 29, 2005 So I sent a care package to a kid from the neighborhood, one from my old HS and now I am looking for a skydiver. If you know anyone who is in Iraq/Afganistan, shoot me an e-mail at Brian42569@hotmail.com. I can only afford to send one, maybe 2 so it will be first come first serve. The package is simple stuff, hard candy, snacks, a few DVD's, magazines, etc. Not porn, liquor, drugs. Basically nothing that can get them in trouble. Just want to give a little back to our soldiers serving us. Thanks, B The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand. Brian425 0 #3 July 29, 2005 SInce I don't know them, I won't send porn. I don't mind getting the people I know in trouble. Stangers, I should try not to get in trouble. I have heard that good porn DVD's are pretty valuable. B The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.

Small bottles of the purell hand washing gel that you just rub on your hands is great stuff as is chocolate. If you send tobacco send Marlboros or Coppenhagen in the cardboard can, most dippers will only dip from platic cans when hard up. Believe it or not, Licorice whips are really popular as is Beef jerky. Instant mac is also a good choice. I only see a PX about once or twice per month. Other than that I have to live on what I can get from the Haji stores around here. I was just sitting here saying to a friend..........."I would kill someone for some really good chicken wings about now." Don't feel sorry for me though. I'm a civilian employee who volunteered to come here. It's my own damn fault. Im not considered a skyder yet(jump count). I have a younger brother in Iraq and a cousin that just went back to Hawaii from a 1 year stay in Afganistan. both Army. cousin is Ifantry and brother is light wheel mechanic. my brother fill me in on the convoy rides he does from time to time. i think he has only been on 1 convoy mission and 1 mission that was something like patrol/guard. but like freeflir29 said. the PX is close enough for most things needed. I just send stuff he cant download on his crapy internet connection. like skydiving vids he gets all the movies before they come out here. so that sucks. He better bring them back! Yahoo is great for free daily communication! I havnt really asked him what is something he cant get over there that he wants. he has fast food chains in the area from what he has told me so im sure he can just about anything. I just give support and stuff he cant download. thats it... ExPeCt ThE uNeXpEcTeD! DoNt MiNd ThE tYpOs, Im LaZy On CoRrEcTiOnS!
