Chubba 0 #3 September 29, 2008 I own an Altitrack, I find it very comfortable. Rubber mount, angled offset on your hand/wrist and a nice flexible single finger ring.
monkycndo 0 #4 September 29, 2008 There are alti mount straps that go around the thumb and palm, without the o-ring over the fingers. Other options- a wedge that goes on your chest strap or a bracket that goes on your mudflap. If you are a student, ask your instructors about your options.50 donations so far. Give it a try. The mudflap is probably harder to fall on and hurt yourself with.
jpechbre 0 #9 October 2, 2008 When I first jumped with my Galaxy I put the rubber ring around my index and middle finger. It is really uncomfortable when squeezing your hands (as when flaring). I now put the ring over only my index finger and it's perfect. No pain or soreness and it's comfortable. Did you try repositioning the ring?
Broke 0 #10 October 2, 2008 You can always jump with gloves on and you won't even notice the O ring is there. You will also protect your hands for those botched landings.Divot your source for all things Hillbilly. Anvil Brother 84 SCR 14192
jerm 0 #11 October 2, 2008 i tried the wristwrap a few years ago and have nver looked back... it's the most confortable hand/wrist mount i've come across Cloudflyer Landing without injury is not necessarily evidence that you didn't fuck up... it just means you got away with it this time
