Does the time you were born determine whether you're a "morning person"?

Recommended Posts

My friend has a theory that what time of day you were born determines whether or not you're a "morning person." I was born at 4:40 p.m. and I am most definitely a night person.

How about you? Let's do a highly scientific DZ.com poll.

Damn that is an interesting theory...and what I find funny...i was born at 4:44pm heehee..

Anyway, i flip flop, sometimes I am a morning person and sometimes I am not. Havent found rhyme or reason. Well other then in the summer is when I am more of a morning person, sun up I get up. Winter it is much harder B|

Heck, I don't even need an alarm to wake me up at 5:00 a.m.

No kidding. My wife was supposed to have the early morning at work and be the first up this morning. She forgot to set the alarm. So at 4:50 a.m. I wake up, look at the time, say, "Fuck it" and go make her coffee (possibly her favorite thing I do for her, which shows how untalented I am at other things[:/]). She asked me to let her sleep in, so I got to cleaning the house.

Weekends? I can't sleep past 6:00 a.m. It's a bitch, I wish I could.

I'm the same way. Up by 5am for work. Haven't used an alarm in years. I might be able to sleep past 6 only if I was up late having too much fun at the DZ. I like having the sunrise all to me while you night owls sleep.

Just as long as you're using that time to make waffles for us night owls. ;)

i was born at like 6 p.m. i'm a night person i'll clean the house and be wide awake at 10 p.m. but i don't know if that's b/c i was born at night. Don't most old people wake up at like 5 a.m. they all couldn't have been born in the morning:)

I was born at 10:11am. I've found that when I'm more awake and able to function is dependent on the sun. If the sun's up, I'm able to wake up and get motivated easily. If the sun's down or it's rainy/cloudy/etc., I could just as easily stay in bed sleeping.

See, I'm thinking that everyone has this whole thing backwards. You're a baby...trying to be born...stuck in a uterus that keeps contracting tight around you keeping you from getting any rest. Finally, you're ejected from your cozy 9mth home into a world where you throw a fit because you got all squished and then, the next thing you likely do, SLEEP.

So, I say, if you're born in the morning, you're really a night person because you were kept up all night (party at your uterus!) and then you sleep all day just like a well-trained night person does. And vice versa. Hell, I think I'm going to write a book, tour the country on book signings, speak on Oprah and Dr. Phil and retire knowing that I've spread utter confusion and chaos throughout the land.

Yeah i was born at 4:26 pm and i am NOT a morning person at all....Mornings suck so bad, I am not a happy camper in the morning unless I'm on vacation, getting ready for vacation or jumping.....

Those are the only exceptions....otherwise, i've slept until 2 pm a bunch of times and unless i have to be up to jump in the morning, I am sleeping until 11 or 12.....
Puttin' some stank on it.
