Casch 0 #3 July 19, 2005 Damn! Yeah I had my eyebrow pierced for about 3-4 months before my car accident. They took the stud out while I was unconscious so that they could take x-rays and mri's and such. I was pissed when I opened my wallet and saw some weird piece of metal in there and realised it was my piercing. The whole closed up completely before I had a chance to put it back in. I've never been talked to about it, but I don't feel that it's professional, especially in my line of work. I take it out in the morning before I get out of my car and put it in when I get back in my car in the evening. Never had a problem. Generally people only see it if they are shorter than I. Not really sure that it day, i'd say fine.effected any interviews in the past.. doesn't seem like it did. I'm not sure about your particular profession, but some employers will allow it "as long as it isn't blatantly obvious" which has led alot of people to go to the acrylic clear jewelry while at work to prevent closing and then switch to whatever they prefer after work. After being written up for having body jewelry, I took it out for the day. By the time I went to put it back in, the hold had closed. Dammit! I quit that job shortly after and never got it pierced again. I will... One day... My belly ring closed within 6 hours, but I got that re-pierced. I hate "professional bullshit." I have had my ears pierced 4 times each side, and my tongue pierced. Unfortunately I think I have an allergy to metal, as that even having taken care of the piercings as directed I had a reaction and could not keep them from getting infected. The only holes I can keep are the 2 my mother had done when I was baby... strange...
