tdog 0 #4 July 18, 2005 Oh, so when we go riden' you will have to let me borrow your bike for a mile or two and you can borrow mine. I am jealous, that is a sweet looking bike. Jen makes my bike look good, too bad she moved to Paris!

Hooknswoop 19 #10 July 18, 2005 At 100+ who cares what color it is? I need to find out what color the little LED that lights up when you hit the red line @ 15,000RPM's. Derek
tdog 0 #11 July 18, 2005 Yours has a light? Mine just stops going faster like I hit a brick wall... Thank god there is a governor or else I think I would have blown mine up in 1st gear. It is official, in 1st gear I can ride at any legally posted speed limit in the US... I really don't see why they gave me another 5 gears.
Hooknswoop 19 #12 July 18, 2005 QuoteIt is official, in 1st gear I can ride at any legally posted speed limit in the US... I really don't see why they gave me another 5 gears. LOL! There are 2 lights within the cluster, one for Oil Pressure, and the other when the rev limiter kicks in. I think it cuts the spark, not completely, but alot. CanuckInUSA 0 #16 July 18, 2005 Very nice. As a fellow CBR owner (I've had a '96 F3 since '97) I can tell you that you've purchased a very well engineered and fun to ride bike. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
diablopilot 2 #17 July 18, 2005 QuoteAt 100+ who cares what color it is? I need to find out what color the little LED that lights up when you hit the red line @ 15,000RPM's. Easy. Put the bike up on the hardstand, pop the clutch and roll the throttle forward. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. Mistress 0 #18 July 18, 2005 The color is awesome, and the bike is probably a lot of fun. Congratulation... and I am sure you know to be careful. I see idiots flying down the road all of the time in between cars and shit... around this traffic that is just ignorant. It is one thing to put yourself at danger, but putting other peoples lives in danger is just assanine. Keep on riding on!!!

I'd tell you to be careful and take it slow, but I know you won't...atleast read "Profecient Motorcycling" though...please? Congrats! He recommended and I bought "Total Control" By Lee Parks. Really good book. \ I don't think I have even got into 6th gear yet. I did take it to 13,500 RPM's in 3rd as part of the break in process.
