adrenalinejunki 0 #1 July 17, 2005 I have a 2003 Honda CBR 600 RR ( black ). I go way to fast on this thing and am going to get myself killed. Just this week I got it up to 161 mph. I do a wheelie almost every time I pull out, getting pretty good on them to (knock on wood) I am also getting to fat to look good on it. Should I sell it and buy myself a powered parachute or just keep it? __________________________________________________What's the worst that can happen? TAndrews 0 #2 July 17, 2005 I'd say you've gotten to comfortable with the bike and it probably will bite you! My vote would depend on how far you live from the dropzone or how far you live from a field you could use as a landing strip. Have you thought of trying powered paragliding, You know the back pack fan thing? I have and they are fun too.
adrenalinejunki 0 #3 July 17, 2005 Well I live back in the mountains and about 2 hours from the nearest dz and 4 hours from the closest turbine dz. Landing strips are almost everywheres here. So are the curvy winding roads. To be honest I am afriad of the bike "biting" me. But on the other hand the mountains make good scenery for flying. __________________________________________________What's the worst that can happen? adrenalinejunki 0 #4 July 17, 2005 I have been checking into paragliding. The nearest place for training is over 4 hours away. I think it would be alot of fun to, hav'nt checked into the powered version though. __________________________________________________What's the worst that can happen? Squeak 17 #5 July 17, 2005 NEVER SELL YOUR ONLY BIKE I sold one of my bike to by my 1st rig, but I had another BikeDON'T sell it you WILL regret itYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
haymangonzo 0 #6 July 17, 2005 The way you drive? You're kidding yourself! If you sell the bike you'll be getting yourself a new one really soon as you enjoy it too much. Perhaps get rid of the 600RR(great bike) and get a cheaper torque bike (an old Vmax or so). This gives you some cash to use for Paragliding and still a fun ride on a bike. Try the paragliding thing as it's great. Gonzo *** Nice to meet you toot!
