Participated in 3 way novice scrambles at SDC this weekend. Made 4 really fun jumps Saturday and finished 3rd with 20 pts. Man I have a lot of work to do. Sunday just did 4 really fun jumps. Tried to launch a 4way meeker with some participants of the scrambles. Didn't work so well but it was a blast. Did a 2 way with Rainbo to work on diving to a formation and a 2 way with Jeth just to go out and have fun. And finished up with Jeth and Soarfree on a 3 way that was by far the most fun jump I had of the weekend. Thanks ladies All in all a great weekend. And special thanks to Rook and Billy Weber and the entire crew at SDC for holding the scrambles, I had a ton of fun and learned a lot.

First jumping back at sea level in 2 wks and was only able to get out for most of sunday. All f un sit fly jumps with docks. Canopy opened nicer.. but really how bad could it be. It's a spectre.

7 tandem videos, and 5 fun jumps! Speedo Day was a blast and ended with a beautiful 8 way Speedo-Star..

But I read a lot of reviews of this canopy, and all those people said it was a great beginner canopy. I like the way it flies. Theres gotta be something I can do to it to slow down the openings, I'll figure it out eventually.
BTW, were U there this weekend? I don't think I've met U at SDC yet.

I stayed home. No jump money, plus other stuff to do at home. I'm planning on the whole week of Summerfest, but I'm not sure yet for the rest of the month! I love my house, but being a homeowner has really cut into my jumping budget!

I agree. He should be A qualified when he finishes AFP. But keg beer gives me a hangover. Stick to the bottles of nice imported beer.

A very beautiful weekend, I worked most of the it so didn't get a lot of jumps in though.

1 jump from a fixed object--first night jump

Also finished up my static line rating this weekend, got to throw out my first real static line. No students yet though.

Got to demo a Katana 89--waaayy fun!

Also did a FF/RW jump. Exited headdown in our bootie suits--HA, that was interesting! Then worked on fall rate changes to prepare for the AFF course.

Overall, a GREAT weekend!!
