ernguru 0 #76 July 7, 2005 QuoteFrom the pictures of one of the buses hit I think there has to have been numerous fatalities there alone. The thing was ripped wide open... those buses are absolutely packed at 8.50am. Reports describe the ground being littered with bodies... Not a nice day at all. The busses were even fuller due to the fact that the tubes were hit first so people resorted to buses. Fucked up thats all I can say. Thankfully I was on a 7am shift or else I would have been caught up in the thick of it.

GeordieSkydiver 0 #78 July 7, 2005 Quotefour confirmed incidents. - train between Aldgate East & Liverpool St (that's the District or Hammersmith Lines) - train at Edgeware Rd - bus - one other I didn't get. Police confirm two dead at Aldgate.[ There are conflicting reports, some say 4, some 7, both on BBC. We have one of the best intelligence networks in the world, if this came as a complete suprise then someone in Whitehall needs a good fucking slap. Luckily, the emergency services and the military have been rehearsing for just such a scenario. If its correct that there are only two fatalities, then we got lucky, very lucky. ernguru 0 #82 July 7, 2005 Over 20 people have been reported dead now and I'm sure that it's really the tip of the iceberg. Guys just one request and try email this to as many people you know. Don't try and call any mobiles in London because the network is totally jammed and if anyone does need to make an emergency call then they won't be able to. Not a nice day at all That was a relatively small device, a bus is made light weight metal. If it had of been a couple of pounds of HMX or Semtex the bus would of been totally destroyed. The density of the people travelling on the bus would not of helped. I still can't believe a terrorist organisation could mount an operation of this size and the government agencies didn't know or failed to react. This could of been prevented.Lee _______________________________ In a world full of people, only some want to fly, is that not crazy? http://www.ukskydiver.co.uk

From this article on Yahoo, QuoteScotland Yard has denied reports they were warned of an attack by Israel minutes before the blasts. Vicki
mr2mk1g 10 #85 July 7, 2005 QuoteThis could of been prevented. I don't know man... all it takes is a couple of people. No need for comms. outside of chatting together in a flat. There are plenty of UK citizens with ties to the middle east who might wish to carry out such an attack.
