Michele 1 #26 July 4, 2005 Because I have a rush project I've been working on. And because there would be a 4th of July picnic that didn't have desserts if I didn't make them...cheesecakes last night, apple cinnamon crumb cake and hot artichoke dip this morning (all right, so the dip isn't a dessert...). And then I have a charity event to go to with my father; we do it every year, and he's feeling up to it today, so we're off to take in the fireworks at the CBS studios... skybytch 273 #28 July 4, 2005 Because I'm a freeflier in training so I can't arrive at the dz before noon. And because it's fun to spend the morning attending to the other two priorities in life before doing the pre-fireworks 4th of July demo in the evening. NWFlyer 2 #29 July 4, 2005 QuoteAnd because it's fun to spend the morning attending to the other two priorities in life before doing the pre-fireworks 4th of July demo in the evening. Judging by the poll you posted this morning, I can guess what one of those two priorities is. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
skydiver30960 0 #30 July 4, 2005 Because I don't have to. I've been going non-stop for a few weeks now (literally) and today I've decided to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. And, so far, have managed to live up to that decision quite well. It makes me wonder, when the Fathers of our country were penning the documents of our freedom, did they think I'd be celebrating my liberty by eating waffles and coffee at 3:30 in the afternoon, watching bad movies?
