what are you doing for the 4th?

Recommended Posts

Hopefully going to the Taste and watching fireworks. Yes, I know how crowded it gets. No, I don't care. I love food and big, pretty fireworks! As long as I don't have to drive there, I'll be fine!
There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I'm probably gonna go into work on the 4th. It's a Monday. I will have moved in to my house on the 1st and done things on the 3rd.

I plan to take July 2 off to enjoy Independence Day. Ater all, July 2, 1776 is when the US actually declared its independence from old Blighty! (Look it up, folks. It just took a couple of days for Thomas Jefferson to put it on paper).

If any of you are in the Hemet, CA area, watch the fireworks show there. I was visiting my Mom last year in Hemet. The Soboba Indian Casino puts on a show that was crazy. The fireworks were on for 3 nites. Each nite it started at 8pm and went on til 1am or so. I could not believe it. Every time I thought it was the finale, it would start again. Super show. That had to cost them a bundle. B| I will try to be there again this yr. I love a good light show. :)

I'll be somewhere in the champagne region in France, drinking my way through the countryside. This is one time I won't miss skydiving!
