Recommended Posts

super schweet! just not Jeramia Red! sooo good, but sooo bad!
Also, weather providing, im planning on doing my 500th that weekend.

Good times. B|

Yeah, I'm thinking of upgrading to the Tatonka Stout from the same brewery. Jeremiah Red - 7.1% alcohol...Tatonka Stout - 8.3% alcohol. I've mentioned it to Jon but Brandon is against it completely as me and Jon would be too ripped to ever train. That'll be sweet if we can do your 500th that weekend. We'll have to do a PHAT belly jump or something, haha.

I have never lived in Atlanta, but was planning on possibly moving there so we checked out the area. We were planning to find a place near Piedmont Park, it was our favorite area of those that we saw. Lots of small restaurants/local joints near, the park was great, the houses had character (not cookie cutter), and all in all we just liked the feel of the area:)

Good luck.

oh, forgot to mention, seemed like everyone in the area had a dog!

You amy not have noticed that most (almost all)of that area consist of households of "domestic partners" to put it pc. Yep midtown is not exactly a straight area, nothin wrong with that just makes social times tough if your the only straight folk for 10 blocks.

kwak
Sometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield. Sometimes your the hammer sometimes your the nail. Question is Hun, Do you wanna get hammered or do you wanna get nailed?????

Sounds like these peeps are sterrin you right. I lived in NE Atlanta for about 10 years just recently escaped. The NE a NW areas are similar NE is just more built up and traffic sux in both places. Good thing is there are plenty of job ops in ATL and one can easily find a job i the burbs and avoid the traffic. Only drawback to the burbs is if your movin to the ATL to experience the night life, arts, sporting events etc. it's a long haul home when your drunk B|

Yep, noticed it and didn't mind it at all. Still liked the area more than the rest. I try to keep an open mind and be accepting of other people's lifestyles. The fact that my neighbors wouldn't be straight has no bearing on my decision to live somewhere. Maybe that's just me.

I can soooo relate to the dry county thing, only place to get a, beer round here is the f-in bowlin alley. NE Atl is cool like i said lived there for 10 years. i still have my boat at Lake lanier so gimme a shout when ya get there. I live about an 1.5 hrs north now in the Mountains.

Ok so ever inching forward. It looks as though I need to be in the North east area. Duluth maybe?
Also, any ideas on whether I should go rent a house or apartment? I have my dog that will have to go with us.

OK. Im hoping to get a job in Duluth, but its only an interview.
Ive looked (online) at apartments in Norcross, Doraville, and not Decatur.
any reccomendations, warnings?

WEre looking at apts for the easy of maint, less to worry about, etc. but I dont wanna end up in some slum.

Or should I just go back to looking for a house?

thanks again all!

I used to live in Doraville.. But that was 10 years ago. Doraville is not that bad but brush up on your Kanji and spanish. It is a predominately Asian area on one side and Hispanic on the other. I loved living there.

I also lived in Norcross at one point. It was a much nicer area.
