Well, I have a pet tarantula if that qualifies. Her name is Cecilia, and she is a stunningly beautiful Mexican Red-Knee. She is responsible for bringing more than one potential romance to a screeching halt.

Helpful hint of the day: When you're in the market for your next tarantula, make sure you get a female. Females have a life expectancy of 20+ years, while males die shortly after reaching sexual maturity (3-4 years).
