RkyMtnHigh 0 #1 June 12, 2005 Do you have them? Last night I had a dream that I was jonesin' for a jump so I told my parents I was going to find a place to jump and would be right back. I leave with my rig and climb on top of a hill and sort of BASE jump over the Gulf and pull right away. While under canopy, I lost orientation and noticed "holy shit...I'm over the Gulf and all around me is beach" and I couldn't recall which section of the beach I jumped from. I chose a section which was far away from where I started, gathered my wet canopy and started walking until I found civilization. I found some people having a cookout and playing poker and asked if I could make a phone call bc I was lost. They told me where I was so my dad could pick me up. It was a really weird dream. What the hell, I still got a jump in unlike reality Share your weird skydiving dreams if you can remember them. _________________________________________
f1freak 0 #2 June 12, 2005 I always have almost the same thing happen in mine..... I'm at the DZ and look up to see a huge formation (100+) breaking off. the only thing is that they are breaking off at like 1000 feet and then it's like people pounding in all around me..... no one dies, but it's just a weird dream.....HAVE FUN... ...JUST DONT DIE
cocheese 0 #3 June 12, 2005 I was walking down the beach when this tall blond skychick landed right in front of me.She seemed lost and i think she BASE jumped from the nearby cliff. I took her home to her parents and her little dog Kozmo. She asked me for my number then said something about the Rocky Mountains. Her smile was so beautiful. I'll never forget her. Kind of weird that i was bummin around with my head down and this angel fell from heaven. Ever since then i have walked the beach with my eyes turned skyward... looking for angels instead of mermaids.

nerd137 0 #6 June 12, 2005 I regularly (like weekly) have dreams that always have a similar series of events. I have a malfunction of some sort and have an inner dialog like this: "Huh. That ain't good." "I guess I should cut away." "Huh. That's lame." Then I always gently float to the ground, landing without incident or injury, after which an instructor will come up to me and say: "What? No one told you? You don't really need a parachute. Those're just for show." "Oh," I say.
Tailgate 0 #7 June 12, 2005 Other than the occasional burn in dream , mine goes like this: I am at a family reunion and someone mentions skydiving and someone else says "show us". So I walk outside and there is an Otter sitting there with a bunch of folks from the DZ loading up. We get to altitude and I jump. Somewhere on the way down I notice that I don't have a rig on so just before the ground says hello I go into a track and then flair out like a helicopter would. then I walk away. _________________________________________________ Let me live in my house by the side of the road and be a friend to man- Sam Walter Foss

Ever since then i have walked the beach with my eyes turned skyward... looking for angels instead of mermaids. awww that is so sweet! I wish my skydiving dream was as beautiful as that, mine is scarey as all hell.... My scarey dream is me on the ground and hearing people yelling..only to look up and see people burning in... The thing that creeps me out and still sends chills up my spine is that I saw their faces. And it is no one that I have met...yet, hopefully I never will either. happythoughts 0 #13 June 14, 2005 QuoteWhile under canopy, I lost orientation and noticed "holy shit...I'm over the Gulf and all around me is beach" That was doing 40-ways at Sebastian. On the video of sunset load, you can see the beach running down the middle of the formation. At breakoff, I was looking down thinking, "That can't be the beach. The dz is nowhere near the Atlantic." happythoughts 0 #16 June 14, 2005 Sometimes when Guy has questions about how something looks, he has the whole formation lie down on the ground with full gear on. Yes, it would be sucking.

I'm sorry, all I heard was: "BLAH BLAH BLAH, I don't really like any of you guys and I only jump when it's convenient, and where I can hang out with people good looking enough for me to be seen with." On the subject: There was one where I landed off on the road behind the DZ, then realized I had forgotten to pull. So I quickly started yanking my canopy out of the bag because I was afraid to get in trouble with my DZO.OrFunV/LocoBoca Rodriguez/Sonic Grieco/Muff Brother #4411 -"and ladies....messin with Robbie is venturing into territory you cant even imagine!-cuz Robbie is
