My rig is still down and the new steering lines for my rig (to replace the broken ones) won't be here until Monday. I was going to go up to Tenn/GA for some whitewater this weekend and the swing by "The Farm" on Sunday but now we have a fucking TS maybe Hurricane coming in and the spousal unit says she will freak out if I leave her here by herself! This is about as much fun as chewing on a ball of tinfoil. Damn I picked a bad time to quit smoking crack! I got into water canoeing about 3 years ago when I took a course given by Mark Warren in Dahlonega, GA. I have an Old Town canoe and usually go on the Toccoa, Cartecay, Nantahala and I had planned on going to the Ocoee this weekend. I hope to get a Kayak sometime. I've paddled them a few times but not enough to be good at it. I was going to try and take a kayaking course through NOC if I can get the time. I enjoying watching the the kayakers when they get in the hydraulics and start playing. You can usually find a herd of them playing below the dam on the Ocoee and down by the old power plant. That is some cool shit. Well I hope your nuts get better and you can get back in the air and on the water real soon. Once you learn to roll,takes about a day of practice,then with agood instructor the learning curve is quick. Alot cheaper & easier than jumping you can be hitting good rpids and playin' the hole soon. I'm up in Pa. if ever around hit me up we'll learn ya & go play same day.
