windcatcher 0 #1 June 8, 2005 or his music, should I ask?!?! I used to own several of his albums, but then I got rid of em ( don;t ask). Now, I need to get all his albums back. So who here is also an avid Dylan fan, and what are your favorite songs of his? I personally think his Blood on the Tracks album has got to be the best. And Girl from the North Country, from his Nashville Skyline album, it probably one of my fave. songs of all time Mother to the cutest little thing in the world... cloudseeker2001 0 #8 June 8, 2005 I like the bootleg stuff much more than the studio stuff. The 75 Bootleg is the best I think. Great CD, great musician and great band. I jam with a guitar player who is friends with Charlie Sexton and he has some funny stories about the Old Owl Dylan! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

windcatcher 0 #10 June 8, 2005 Quote"Everybody must get ....." ha! Well, ya know Bob Dylan might not have been talking about getting stoned ( smoking pot); he might have been talking about actually getting stoned: people throwing rocks. ( This is the theory my weird father, who loves Dylan, tells me ) Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

JohnMitchell 16 #17 June 9, 2005 Is that that dude that sounds like Dire Straits? No, seriously, I like him. On my first date with my now wife, the singer in the restaurant played "Tangled up In Blue." Always loved that song since. My 16 year old hippy daughter has discovered his music and has been studying up on him. She even wrote a column on him in the local paper and learned some of his songs on the harmonica. She's much more talented than dad, obviously.

JohnMitchell 16 #19 June 9, 2005 Hi Rip. Tell Karen "Howdy" and congrats on the 3-0. That's quite a feat these days. My oldest daughter? 5'11 and 8/8's inches tall. She says she's not quite 6 feet. I could still see over her when I took her on a tandem last summer.
