Bolas 5 #1 June 7, 2005 I'm walking home from work and getting ready to cross a busy street. I look down the hill and there is this White Dodge Shadow with gray smoke just pouring out of the front of the car. I immediately thought car fire. The guy driving apparently must have thought it was a busted radiator, so well on the phone to the mechanic, opened the hood and turned away from it after trying to fan the smoke so he can see what was wrong. I start running down the hill, yell to the guy, "Call 911!!!" and then run into the service station right there. I ask them for the fire extinguisher and tell them there is a car fire and one of the guys says he'll get it. I see him pick up the extinguisher and stroll towards the door. Meanwhile the driver is taking things out of his car casually as if unloading groceries while the engine burns. The service station guy walks up behind and puts out the engine fire out. The drivers only comment before I left? "I've been putting 2 quarts of oil a day in the car, guess the motor finally blew." Very surreal experience.Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.

Bolas 5 #7 June 7, 2005 He might have even said "Let it burn!" but I might have imagined that. The cops were there a few seconds later and I heard firetrucks about the time I got to my house. Sorry no pics though. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.
