Why the hell not? :D:D:D

I'm going to be out of town tomorrow through Sunday. Not sure if I'll have reliable internet access where I'll be, so I might as well post up now!

Maybe tomorrow morning the greenies can breathe a sigh of relief... :D

Hmmmm.....pretty judgmental comments in this thread from a group that has traditionaly been considered crazy by the general public.

:|

Ok, call me judgemental. Show me a skydiver that dresses like that and I'll say the same damn thing. That's fucking hideous, and I don't care how intelligent or gifted or 'beautiful inside' that guy is, I don't want to be around someone that thinks that is cool. B|:S

'Taint legal to dress like that in public anyhow, so I would have to assume that it's at some type of event that begets that type of freak, which is perfectly alright as I wouldn't be there anyhow.

JP If you really think he dressed like that not expecting to draw attention, and hoping to be 'loved for who he is', come on, don't kid yourself...

Nudity is beautiful. Whatever the hell that is is just nasty, in my opinion, and that's all it is. My opinion.

Since we dont really know where the pic was taken, and unless you prove me wrong, even if we did know, I'm not sure you know the local laws well enough to make that call, I wouldnt be so categorical about it.

You know, in Toronto, its completely legal for men and woman to walk around topless.

Yeah, heavin forbid we encourage people to step outside the bounds of 'normalicy' and to draw their own conclusions on what's appropriate for them.

While I don't understand the desire to dress that particular way, but I certainly don't condemn it.

Some of the coolest people I've met have been labeled "freaks". Of course, you'll probably never get to know that.

...suuuure, I'll just go ahead and bring my little 9 year old daughter around and show her the wonders of life as taught by mister freak here.

No sir, I have plenty of friends that are different, just none that have to try this hard to get attention. No thanks.

True. I just wouldn't expect this to be walking down the street randomly at any given moment.

-And if it was, I'd cross the street. :S:ph34r:

Not likely, you're too busy teaching her the fine art of bigotry [:/]

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

YES I will teach her to be biased against walking around dressed like this. ABSOLUTELY. I suppose you're not a dad, and it shows.

The point isn't to teach her to do this. It's to teach her to be tolerant of it.

I don't really expect you to get it.[:/]

I WILL NOT teach my kids to be 'tolerant' of this. I don't think YOU 'get it'. This is not something that NEEDS to be tolerated. Those idiots have a choice to dress like that or not. My kids already understand tolerance for people that aren't as naturally gifted or physically strong as others. Don't even attempt to put this moron in with people that truly need tolerance.

You don't have to. The beauty of a free country is that you're free to raise your child in pretty much any way you seem fit.

Trust me, I do. I enjoy people from almost all walks of life. Sometimes we get along, sometimes we don't. If I shut everyone out that didn't fit in my 'sterotype' then I'd stay simple and closed minded. You seem to mistake tolerance for understanding or even agreement.

Oh, so only the limitations YOU impose are subject to tolerance. I don't think that fits the meaning of the word. If this person was harming someone else in some way, sure you have a leg to stand on - but as it stands right now, you don't.

This person isn't the one on my list of morons ;), I make no assumptions about their intellect based on what they're wearing.

Carry on....

BIG qualifier - I haven't seen the picture. I'm at work and don't break the NSFW boundaries here.

That said, don't all people deserve tolerance as long as they're not harming others? That doesn't mean you have to like them or condone what they do, just respect their right to do it. What's the difference between tolerating someone's choice of religion and tolerating someone's choice of body jewelry?

and no one has mentioned it looks photoshopped?? I mean his tallywhacker is sun tanned. he's pasty white. C'mon.

Not necessarily... tallywhackers can be darker than the rest of the body... Either that, or he just had a blow job or something and it got flushed (looks reddish)... ;):D

Oh.. you mean the pic with the 2 goths? Its not so bad...:D

I think we should all reflect on the famous words of Dick Solomon (ah.. those wise aliens)

"I'm an offensive person, but in a tolerant society is there no place for my kind? Why must everyone like me? Why cant we all just not get along?"

>Show me a skydiver that dresses like that and I'll say the same damn thing.

I've seen skydivers that put plates in their heads so they can screw stuff into them. I've seen them with dozens of piercings, full-body tattoos, surgically enhanced lips, breasts, butts and chins.

>JP If you really think he dressed like that not expecting to draw attention,
>and hoping to be 'loved for who he is', come on, don't kid yourself...

I'm sure people say the same thing about skydivers. "If you really believe that skydivers aren't suicidal maniacs calling out for attention, I have a bridge to sell you . . ." There's probably a website somewhere with a picture of a nude jump that 'proves' that.

I don't really care what people wear. There are normal people who dress like that and scum-sucking pigs who wear three piece suits. It's the person that counts, not what's on the person.
