Complaining to the boss of someone can be a bad idea. We just let it stand as a truce. We regularly walked, instead of driving, back from the neighborhood bar. The cop had self-esteem issues and liked to start trouble with college kids. My cousin didn't like to back down. "Match? Meet gasoline".
