bodypilot1 0 #27 May 26, 2005 Do NOT go to The Parachute Center in Lodi! It will fuck up your trip, you meet good friends, jump from the best airplanes for $13 and you NEVER leave the DZ. Be safe. Ed I was there and managed to tear myself away! I'm doing a similar (but shorter) trip myself right now. I'm currently visiting a friend in Tucson. Left my home DZ (Snohomish, WA, also a great DZ to visit in WA) a week ago, and have jumped at Lodi, Byron, Hollister, and Eloy so far, with plans to hit Perris and Elsinore this week, and maybe Moab next week. My plans to jump at Eugene and Davis were thwarted by weather, but I've had a blast so far meeting new people and checking out the personalities of different dropzones. You'll have a great trip - enjoy it!"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. You are heading West to East, and she is doing the opposite, thus never leaving. Be safe. Skyspirit 0 #31 May 27, 2005 Hi Thankyou everyone! Skydivers are the best people! I think I have decided to start in Cape Cod, and try the DZs there then New England Skydiving on the border of New Hampshire and MAine, then go abck through NY to Canada...Burnaby, then Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, I am not sure after that for a bit and then I know Idaho, Oregon (I love Mollala prettiest place I have ever jumped) Not sure if I will go up to WA but eventually I know I will make it to LA and Elsinor. Maybe a place or two in AZ. Then go back up across the middle. Gonna be at Rantoul of course. While I am up north .. Wanna go to Yellowstone and Grand Teton NP and perhaps Yosemite too on the way down to LA. Now this is all provided my car will make it and that I can pick up some Shiatsu and Yoga Clients along the way to help fund... www.skyspirityoga.com (read about Shiatsu...it feels great!) And if I do find a place to hang all summer, so it goes... it is all good! Oh yeah.. not sure.. how do you hijack someone's thread!?????"Blow wind come wrack, at least we'll die with harness on our back." I think if you want to travel to the US you should call Skyride and see what dz's they send you to. I am sure you will see all of the US only making a few jumps!
