Soft-tip darts

Recommended Posts

My brother plays in a league and sometimes I sub for his teammates. I won´t be in Vegas but on the other hand if you need any dart machine repair done I am the man to call. I serviced video games for about 10 years (my first job was as an arcade attendant at 8 years old). Also even though I quit that job like 4 years ago I still haven´t managed to extricate all the dart tips from the car since the little zippy bag got away from me while driving.

Wow thats a golden oldie, it´ll be hard to find parts for that one. Also being that we´re not on the same continent at the moment is somewhat of a hindrance. What exactly is it doing? Is the video just out? If it´s a monitor problem thats alot easier than a board problem.

Naw, the monitor is working, all in all, but the width and height of the video is compressed and flickering (and blurred with multipul overlays of the same image just a bit off). So we had come to the conclusion that it was probably one of the video controller cards or similar. Its just dissimilar enough from computers that I'm a bit lost.

Yea if it´s an old machine like I think it is and not a remake in a new cabinet then you either have a board problem (its all in one with those old ones, there isn´t usually seperate graphics cards and what not) or if you´re lucky you just need a new chassis board for the monitor. The chassy board isn´t the tough but I can´t quote a price off the top of my head for one either.
