THe Spydercos are awesome knives, I have had 2 enduras, a delica, a dragonfly, and a rescue something. Gave my dad a dragonfly, he loves the thing, and a buddy has the Harpy, now that will make you draw back when pulled.

Sebenza ! Izindaba ! thos are all Zulu words :)

Yup - He spent a fair amount of time living in South Africa.

I think I could settle for a Ken Onion Boa, that would work too.... B|

I've also handled a Ken Onion Blackout that seems to be a nice knife as well...

How do you like the mini commander? I've got the full size and I love it. Sometimes it is a bitch to carry in a suit or other really formal clothes/uniforms. Also when I can't carry it on my duty belt because of the intimidating look of it. Nevermind the gun, baton and RCA. The knife is going to put me over the top and could be taken away from me. [:/] My other knives are a CRKT M-16, pretty well rusted thanks to many nights on patrol in Iceland but still performs great and the blade on my Gerber multi-tool.
Now fixed blades I have a SEAL pup by SOG which is great. Not to big but still gets the job done. I had a SPECWAR by timberline but I gave it as a gift to my friend. It was a great knife but just a little to big for anything other then long trips into the wilderness. Great blade tho.

i just got it a few days ago, but i really like it, ive owned a few different fullsized, and when i got the mini, i thought it was gonna be too small, but its definetaly just enough, where the fullsize is overkill sometimes.

If it were possible to set up a small post office next to the TSA booth you could make a killing charging people to mail all their stuff home that they forgot to take out of their pockets...:D

Bush Intercontinental....

There is a machine right next to security for that very purpose.

It has everything from paper envelopes to small boxes...a scale etc. ...credit card only.

......................................................................

Here's a couple of knives you don't see everyday.

Both Military Parachute Knives..of the 'switch blade' variation.

One is U.S. the other Swiss.

There is a couple of the orange ones on ebay. I found them while doing a search for "parachute" dont remember what the price was up to tho.

I have 1/2 dozen I've collected over the years.
They were actually made 'wrong' because the blade that's supposed to spring out is the hook side.

I have only seen one of the type that's 'right' and it wasn't for sale.

Some of the ones I have were given to me by Army Ranger buddies..I think I bought one for 25 bucks a few years ago new in the wrapper / box.

Is that the one you wear around your neck?

Yes. :)
I'm sorry if it spooked you. I know that a lot of people (most people?) are not used to the idea/concept of someone having a knife there, or wishing to have a knife available at all times. But once I got hooked, it became ingrained.

Blame my brother. He was the one who turned me on to neck knives. :D
