In Memory of My Pooch

Recommended Posts

I don't post much, only jumped three times but felt so welcome here I stayed around. I had to share this with you. If you have a pet, give them a big hug and tell them you love them, there is never enough time.

The last few days have been terrible.

Today would have been Eddie's 5th birthday. Instead, we are missing him and grieving for him. On Thursday, May 12th, we were forced to say good bye to him on this earth. Eddie had been having intermittent behavior problems and unfortunately, it became severe and we were left with no choice. Our trusted veterinarians, breeders and friends agreed
this most likely stems from a accident with a car several years ago.

It broke our hearts to do the right thing.

Today our home and hearts are empty. Eddie was our "boy" and went and did everything with us. He was our companion and friend. There will never be
another like him.

Be free, Ed, where you are now there are countless tennis balls (get my Mom to throw them for you) and lots of squirrels and rabbits for you to chase.
You will never again be afraid during fireworks and thunderstorms. We know we will see you again, at the Rainbow Bridge.

Please remember our Ed in your hearts and prayers.

It is so hard to let them go. Even though you think you're ready, you never are. But at least now they are at peace. I'm sorry for your loss. :(

i know and feel your pain personally. my "Bear Dog" went to "To The Big Play Ground In The Sky" (about 2 years ago) He was almost 19 years old then. My heart goes out to you, and you and Eddie will be in my thoughts. I bet Eddie and Bear are chasing rabbits right now! Take Care, God Bless.

Awww... I'm so sorry to hear about your pooch. :(

I did love on my pooch this morning before I left. She put her paws on my arms and gave me tons of puppy kisses while I told her I loved her and I'd see her later. I'm glad I did, just because you never know what might happen...

The same goes with any loved one. Let them know you love them the best you can. You never know if and when you'll see them again.

Blue Skies Eddie
