Have you noticed how many jumpers in freefall, under canopy and after landing have a HUGE ASS GRIN on their face!!! _________________________________________
grue 1 #4 May 14, 2005 Indeed it is :) What I find really interesting is how the ADHD kids, like myself, aren't "on a high" afterwards like the normally-wired people. I'm in an excellent mood, but I get veeeeerrrrrrrrry calm afterwards. Theories state that it's because of our neurotransmitter deficiencies.cavete terrae. Oh man, I sleep like a BABY on post-jump evenings, and I'm always in a good mood for a couple days afterwards. Then it's back to "ok, good mood has worn off. I need air time"cavete terrae. happythoughts 0 #7 May 14, 2005 Not me. I don't even like jumping. It's just that I have a problem with peer pressure. All my friends do it, so I do. ... that "conversation" that you have with your parents... "What do you mean 'all my friends were doing it' ?" "Well...ummm" "If all your friends jumped out of a plane, would you?" "I suppose so..." It's my moms fault that I skydive. She wanted a committed answer, so I gave her one. Now I'm stuck with it. It would be wrong to go back on my word to my mom.
bobsled92 0 #8 May 14, 2005 I dream of jumps. I work until 7am and I'm going to take my daughter for her 1st jump at 10amI cried a single tear of joy in the plane on my recurrency jump after 5-6 years off. It was soo beautiful, I couldn't believe I ever left! _______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/

I have goosebumps about your daughter making her first jump too...how awesome for dad and daughter to share such a wonderful sport. Last weekend there was a dad/daughter 2-way who jumped together all day...saturday and sunday...it was really special!!! (his brilliant daughter is an astronaut...we will see name again very soon) There were also two brothers who jumped together and the one bro surprised the other with READI-WHIP upon landing for his 200th _________________________________________
