RfukfreeflyingW 0 #26 May 11, 2005 U picked a great time to go, because the Farm is having a boogie that weekend. trust me there will be people up and jumping sunday! U will find people that are willing to teach you RW and jump with you. I would venture to guess that the SDA RW fliers would be at the farm this weekend, but Im not sure how their regs are, Ian can clear that up im sure. SDA is a great DZ with a huge landing area, but they will try to turn u into a FF'er those bastards! ASC has a tiny landing area, and like said above if u do a search u will find what everyone has had to say about them. No need to start another ASC bashing thread. But where ever u chose, u'll be happy both SDA and the Farm have great people. Never been to monroe---- -God, you are the perfect amount of dumb... For each RW jump I do with you (yes I actually can do RW - albeit not with great form) you do a FF jump with me. Deal? I just see the new name now......VRfuckflatflyingW Blues, IanPerformance Designs Factory Team
hisgoofyness 0 #28 May 11, 2005 QuoteAmen. I really gotta put Rome on my visit list. Even if it's to take Ben's cowbell away Yes, you should come for a visit; but please don't even think of taking my Cowbell away... It is a part of me... It is how all other DZ's know the Romans are coming!!! We may have to put you on a Cowbell load and give you a number though! Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me! JRock 0 #29 May 11, 2005 Why cuz they have a Super Otter and a lot of cool people? I would choose ASC or Skydive Atlanta.
RfukfreeflyingW 0 #30 May 11, 2005 Hell last time I was there they tried to make me freefly. I did one of my 2 lifetime freefly jumps haha though it really was more of me flying on my back trying to get to a sit! but I guess it would be only fair! though u will have to teach me a few things... u know like how to do any of that crazy flying! ---- -God, you are the perfect amount of dumb... napalmboy 0 #31 May 11, 2005 Well, it looks like it's come down to The Farm or SDA. With my relative packing times making fast loads kinda useless to me , I think I'll be picking The Farm this time around, but I promise to visit SDA the next time I go to Atlanta. Thanks for the advice, everyone! See some of you on Sunday...what kind of beer do you like? Well, the door was open...

LoudDan 0 #38 May 11, 2005 Despite what people say about ASC, if you want to learn, in a safe and profesional environment be it freeflying, canopy skills, or belly flying you would be doing yourself a diservice to not come out and give it a try. We've got great freeflyers, kickass belly flyers, and some amazing canopy pilots. We did 23 loads out of the Otter last Saturday 18 on Sunday, and 38 loads the weekend before. Some of the naysayers in this thread got their start at ASC, or got some help there to get to the skill level they are at today, and a good deal of the negative comments about the dropzone come from people who have never set foot on the place. Don't get me wrong, Skydive Atlanta is a great dropzone, with very talented skydivers and a great staff, and their plane is truly pimpaliscious (you've gotta see it truly understand). I've not yet jumped at the other dropzones in this state, so I can't give you any insight. Good luck and be safe wherever you go. Coming soon to a bowl of Wheaties near you!!
