Picture Resize Program?

Got one someone posted awhile back, think it was Flyangel (Mar). It was really simple and easy. My home pc took the big crap and I want to download it to my laptop. Any help??

I don't know which one you're thinking about, but I recently discovered Picasa 2 and strongly recomend it for managing and basic editing of images.

It's free and easy to use.

if you have xp, there's a pretty good (and free) power toy you can get from microsoft.

install GIMP it's fun and easy....

open your image
click ont he menu "image" then select scale image put in your parameters and viola....

plus it does all kinds of other neat image things and it's free... open source is cool

Shit, I installed the Picasa one and STILL dont know how to re frickin size my pics

The one I had on the other computer, I'd left click on a picture, right click and click on "resize picture" It would give me 3 choices, small medium and large, simple as that. Now I have another program I dont know how to use FUCK I hate being computer illiterate!!!

It's Easy.

Open Picasa. Browse to the pic you want to resize. Click on it. It shows up in the "Picture tray" on the bottom left.

Click the "export" button on the bottom right. Adjust the slider to make the image smaller or larger. 320 is very small, 1024 is good for posting to websites. Hit OK.

Done.

I use Photoshop a lot too but Andy's got a point: Picasa 2 is an awesome little free program. I've been using it for some time for less elaborate stuff and it works great. Give it a whack!

Eh, fuck it for now I guess I resized some pictures but now when I try to post, and use browse to find them, eh, fuck it for tonight. Got some jumps in with traveling ChileRellano this afternoon and got some pics. I'll try some other time. Thanks again.

I found that the easiest program to use is ACDSee
Its really easy not only to resize pictures but also to brighten them up etc etc etc.
Used it yesterday on loads of pics and it did not take long at all.
