Birth Order - Would you please take this poll?

I've been reading a book that covers theories about the causes of paradigm shifts. The author makes some statements about birth order, and I wanted to see how this group would fit one of his claims.

Please take the poll by indicating where you were in the birth order of kids in your family -- even if you don't care to make comments.

I'll mention the book, and tell what the author's premise is (and how it relates to this forum) after there have been enough responses to make it fun.

Third and last child for my parents... Mom had me when she was 40, the oldest brother is 13 years older than me and the middle brother is 11 years older.

law, i bet your sister never let you live down that she was older did she? i know mine always gave me shit about how she was older.........but wheni lived in germany i turned 21 a whole 6 hors before she did so i called her up and let her know i was "technicly" older at that point...lol....

Sounds my family. My mom had me when she was 41 and my brother is 14 years older and my sister is 8 years older. I'm the third and last child also, but I'm the only child my parents conceived. My brother and sister are adopted.

Absolutely! (Good catch, by the way.)

If there's only one kid in your family, there's a 100% chance that it will be you. Two kids makes it 50%, three makes it 33.33(333...)%, etc.

I'm going to use the results of the author's research, though, and just compare this very UNscientific poll to his "statistically significant" results. The point isn't to come up with new research data, but only to see how well this group fits the research already done.
