You had rubber boots for rainy/snowy days -remember Moon boots I probably did, should have a pic of me somewhere... You had either a "bowl cut" or "pixie," Yup, I did... You wore a poncho, Yup... You had the Donnie and Marie dolls with those pink and purple shredded outfits. Yuck, that's one I'm glad I never had! You spent hours out back on your metal swing set with the trapeze. Actually, I spent a lot of time on my neighbor's trampoline, which had NO safe-guards, like a net around the perimeter, or pads on the springs... You wanted to be Laura Ingalls Wilder really bad; you wore that Little House on the Prairie-inspired plaid, ruffle shirt with the high neck in at least one school picture; and you despised Nellie Olson! I admit it, I used to watch that show a lot... but that was it... Honest! You and your girlfriends would fight over which of the Dukes of Hazzard was your boyfriend. I fought over which Duke boy could whup the other! YOU had Star Wars action figures, too. Yup... You completely wore out your Grease, Saturday Night Fever, and Fame soundtrack albums. Not the soundtrack albums... You used to tape record songs off the radio by holding your portable tape player up to the speaker. Not the radio, but I did tape the entire movie "The Blues Brothers" off the TV on a cassette tape... I'd watched that movie enough times that I could listen to the tape and tell exactly where in the movie it was... (I could hear just a little bit better back then than I do now) You thought Olivia Newton John's song "Physical" was about aerobics. Yup... and I remember Rick Springfield's "Human Touch" too...
