Chappels in Vegas?

Recommended Posts

I know a couple who's going to spend a few days in Vegas this weekend, and she asked me to look into wedding chappels there... Have any of you guys tied the knot in LV? Any tips? Any good Elvis impersonators to recommend?

Rich and I got married at the Little White Wedding Chapel's Drive-Thru Tunnel of Love. We had Elvises skateboarding around us, but that was only because there was another wedding party there and they were all dressed like Elvis.

And then we went there again on our first anniversary to witness some friends getting married at the same place (along with a rather wild anniversary party at Club Rain).

All you need in Vegas is the marriage license. Takes about 10-15 min or so to get at the courthouse (24hours). No blood or anything needed when I did it....

I think there ae a few Drive through wedding places there...

Can you really just drive up and get married? No blood tests or anything?

Yep, we got married in my pickup and my friends got married in their convertible with the top down. B|

No blood test required, just a marriage license which you can get quickly at the Marriage Bureau in Vegas (which is open 24 hours on weekends and holidays).

I have personally tried a couple...:o:$>:(
Little white chappel was OK. Can't remember the name of the other one, but it wasn't great...

This site has more then you need to know it looks like. Hell I was able to make it happen within only a few hours by looking in the phone book. That was everything including the license and the wedding....

have fun

Being skydivers, Kris and I were looking into the Flying Elvises. Really, I just wanted the light up suit, though.

You and Kris are finally going through with it? Are you registered anywhere?

We better be! I didn't spend good money on a cool light up dress for nothing!!!!

I'm registered at Target and Dunkin Donuts. I don't know where Kris is registered.
There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

We stayed at the Luxor but got married at the Candle Light Wedding Chappel. It was just her and I and the guy that married us. We are both VERY happy we went to Vegas. Oh by the way, we got married on Valentines day and if your planning on doing it on Vday go straight to the court house as soon as you get to town, preferable the night before. The line was already out onto the sidewalk. They told us by 6 am the line would be around the block.

My aunt and uncle got married at the Excalibur. If you didn't know you were in vegas, you'd never guess.

The chapel at Paris Las Vegas is also pretty.

Caesars has a really pretty garden courtyard setting too.

Hope that helps.

I've been married in Vegas before. . .there are some really nice chapels there. Getting married is easy. . .if you've been married before, just remember to remember the date you got divorced. . .if its been less than 2 years, they want a divorce decree. Other than that it is EASY. . .
