flyangel2 2 #2 April 27, 2005 This looks like it's going to be a great geek thread to get me all hot. Thanks sweetie for posting the question.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey

highfly 0 #7 April 27, 2005 If you go into your applications you will find something called Grabber. This bit of software allows you to "grab" all of the desktop, a single window that is open or something else that I cant remember. You just click on the window you need to capture and then click on grab. I think its in the file menu. It can save it straight to your desktop as a number of different formats. Voila easy aint it. www.myspace.com/durtymac

Frenchy68 0 #9 April 27, 2005 Quotethoughts??? It does work. It will entitle it "Picture 1". As a default, it will put it in your Documents folder (on Mac OSX), unless you changed your preferences to another folder or desktop. Do a search for Picture. I do it pretty often on my machine at work because something is always screwing up and giving me an error message! You're right, it's shift+apple+3, and it makes the image "picture 1" on the desktop, for me. When you open it, is usually opens in "Preview." -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind...
