Hairy legs on women

Recommended Posts

I went a year without shaving my legs once. :o
I have very very sensitive skin and was constantly getting razor burn and in-grown hairs no matter how many "senstive skin" products I used during shaving. So I stopped. B|
I'm also very fair and you can't even hardly see my leg hairs. I never got any complaints.:$
I've started shaving again since but the in-grown hairs are starting back up again so I might stop again soon.:)
I've heard that shaving in the US started back in the 50's after men started coming back from the war in asian countries and wanted their women to be hairless and look prepubescent like the asian women. I think that's a ridiculous reason to shave and it shouldn't be so shocking in our society that some women would choose not to shave.:)

That is very interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

Nothing wrong with not shaving. It's your legs, and what they feel like to you and your mate is what matters.

Hygiene is important. But that requires soap and water, not razors. Why are guys clean with hairy armpits and legs and women aren't? In the artificial standards department, it ranks pretty high.

What do you think of a man who shaves his pits???
Sexy or Yucky?

First time kind of weird. Then I figured it was his business. He liked it better that way (it was a married co-worker, so the interest would have been academic regardless)

Hmmm ... most of the Asian women, like Anglos, who look prepubescent ARE prepubescent.

I personally don't care if a woman shaves her legs, so long as she shaves between her toes ... especially the two big ones.

Ok, heres another question -
What do you think of a man who shaves his pits???
Sexy or Yucky?

It's very unfair that it's generally considered gross for a woman to be hairy, yet it's fine for a man. Underarm hair is just rank anyway, regardless of whether it is sprouting out of the pit of a male or a female :P
And it traps sweat and gets icky in the heat.
The nastiest thing is visible drops of sweat on underarm hair in the summer. Ugh... *shudders*
Sorry, I shouldn't have written that last bit.
Feeling a bit queasy now. :(

I try not to go without shaving too very much... more for my preference though.
One thing that I don't undertstand though is the stupid plucking of the eyebrows!!! I'm not saying that I had a unibrow or anything... but it hurts to get them waxed! And for what reason do we do them? WHY? Can any guy explain that? (I have a girlfriend - no, not like that- who regularly tells me when it's time to get it done... cuz I kinda hate all those "chick" things... and she says that it's just something women should do... but WHY?)

Sometimes us guys can notice a good makeup job. But most of the time we can't or at least are distracted by something else - like boobies. So unless the woman is nicknamed "eye-brow" I don't think plucking ones eye-brows needs to be high up on the priorities list.

So, should I just keep that thing about the food in your teeth to myself? :D

Kidding - but I ALWAYS point out to other women if something is amiss: food in teeth, skirt in pantyhose, booger out of nostril, "hair gel" in hair... you know, so they're not embarrassed.

you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

I hate those women who point shit like that out. "You have a zit right there." Yeah? Well, no shit, Sherlock! Thanks for pointing it out. I had no idea it was there! And now I'm rather self-conscious. Thank you. >:(

Women are bitches. :D

EXACTLY!! We are our own worst ememy... cuz like he said, they don't really notice - and if they do, they better not say anything if they are smart. (except maybe the sasquasch legs... yuck)

Aww, you didn't even get my funny! Think Something About Mary...

And you're right - if it's a part of my body, I am ACUTELY aware of it, thank you. Especially cold sores. [:/] Thank your lucky stars you don't get them.

Here, here! The only reason why I can think for a woman to wax her eyebrows is so that, in the rare case of one us men NOT staring at her boobies, she won't think, "MY GOD!!!! HE'S STARING AT MY EYEBROWS!!!!!"

'Long time ago I had a red-headed lady friend who didn't ever shave her legs. The hair on her legs was very soft, not all that noticeable, and not offensive at all. It was sexy in that it fit her little hippie chick persona, and frankly everything about her was rather adorable. (Too bad she ended up with the Moonies.) Had it been coarse, thick, and black, on the other hand ...

One girl I was with does not shave her pits or her legs, and she has quite a hairy bush that extends even "around back" a little. She's kind of a hippie-ish girl.

I think I'm going to be sick. :|:S

You're going to be sick because I can accept a girl, even be turned on by a girl, just the way she is? And not reject her because she's not Brazilian-waxed and primped and preened to the Nth degree?

Maybe it's my turn to be sick? [:/]

I can't stand big bushy eyebrows. I'm addicted to plucking.

hehehe! i am too. one time in high school i got carried away on one of them.:o

i've been avoiding the hair threads for a while... now i know why.:P
i've been on (weekend) vacation before razorless by accident and the stubble on my legs ended up driving me insane.... makes me itch!
and i associate itchy with dirty. not shaving makes me feel dirty. i'm weird like that.
edit: i do it for me... not my s.o. since he lives 5 hours away. smooth feels better!
i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce

Jeff... Sorry, man... it's just the way you said it. Gave me the heeby-jeebies. Trust me, I really don't care about appearance. It's honestly what's inside that matters to me. My number one thing about a guy that turns me on, is their ability to make me laugh. That, and to not bore me to tears. Honestly... it's just your wording that made me want to puke a little. :P

I could send you the pic that she sent me, and you could see just how adorably cute her little nonnie is, even though it's hairy. OMG I just wanna lick it! LOL! :D
