What would you do?

I'm going to San Diego tomorrow and I'm trying to decide what to do with myself. I was thinking either:
1. Go to Perris and get some coaching from the Flyboyz
2. Go to Elsinore and do the canopy school thing
3. Go to Air Adventures and jump the boarder, but maybe jump alone.
What would you do?

Since canopy flying is prolly my weak point, I'd do the canopy control school. But that's just me.

I'd hit all of them. Do some freeflyin at Perris in the morning, take the 20 minute hop to Elsinore by mid-day and do the swoop pond when the winds are comin off the lake, then drive an hour (your times may vary) to Otay and jump the border at sunset. I figure you can get 9 to 10 jumps in. So you'd start off in the SkyVan, an Otter, then a Caravan.... Yeah, come meet the gang. And if you need a packer, Grasshopper will be lurking. He's the one wearing the gang green freefly suit and T1 will be at Otay unless he's coaching Ghopr on the fine art of hop-n-pops. Oh, and if you're in the hood this weekend Matrix is hosting a 4 way camp at Elsinore. (read: beer)

Dutchboy, too bad you're going to San Diego tomorrow, instead of thursday. I'm at Otay every thursday, and would have jumped with you! At any rate, I think you should definately follow Shark's advice. Elsinore and Perris are so close to each other, why not do them both!

My plane lands at 10am so I might have a hard time doing all three. Perhaps I can squeeze in at least two though.

I'm actually there till 9am on Friday morning, but unfortunately (?) I'm there to work and have several meetings on Thursday afternoon. Hmmm... very slight chance I could sneak in a jump before meeting clients at 2pm in the city.

Of course, you could always try & convince the pilot & JM you NEED to "self spot" your solo exit at 1.55pm .

I would go for the canopy control school as my first choice, then if time, I would go for the Air Adv. thing. Just me though!

Do Perris AND lake smellsomemore, they're only about 20 minutes apart from eachother and that's drivign time, even less if you fly. *note* I am jumping PERRIS lol well jumping Friday I am pretty sure and jumping back at home...Elsinore... over the weekend

I did the whole Skydive U thingy too...really good investment, well for me at least. The one thing I can NOT stand is NOT knowing something. Anyways I'd love to make a jump or two with ya! I'm the only BITE ME there so I'm sure you won't have trouble spotting me lol

Sunny California my @$$. Nothing but solid clouds the past three days. Oh well, next time I go out there it will be better, I hope. The only thing skydiving related I did was drop some $$ at Square One one videos and clothing while I was there. I drove to Perris twice from San Diego (84 miles) to not jump once.
