Amazon 7 #1 April 16, 2005 Well since there is about 1.2" in my rain gauge so far since midnight.. I am thinking my jump weekend is over. I did get in 8 jumps at the Team Xaos swoop camp and canopy control class which actually got me doing some serious riser dives and turns... down close the the very hard earth..... finally. Definitely showed me I need to get in shape if I want to do those.. I think every muscle in my arms and upper body is hurting still. I did hold a right riser dive a tad too long on jump number 8.... and managed to scare people watching.. but I realized it and dug myself out.. came up a tad short of the swoop pond with nothing more than a big muddy splash into the swamp ( it wasnt as big a splash as SOME people made in various parts of the terrain there I will post the video one of these days Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I filmed a couple of RW jumps.. my vid sucked.. it was on nightshot the first jump and I just flew poorly on the second.. but I have some awesome pics. Got his first kiss pass and tried to rodeo him (note - it's hard to get your legs down when you're wearing booties ). Closed Saturday with a 14 way RW attempt (3 low). Fun low key jump that included two jumpers with less than 100 jumps and a handful of primarily freefliers. Did two four way RW jumps Sunday morning. That's fun stuff.
