r_bahuguna 0 #1 April 19, 2005 I am wondering what job profiles do skydivers here have? (One word response like Programmer, Software Sales etc ) Also has drugs got anything to do with skydivers in general (I guess No)? In other words do skydivers take drugs? SkydivingNurse 0 #5 April 19, 2005 1) Registered Nurse 2) Drugs can play a part in anyone's life, I personally don't know any skydivers who partake of anything harder than a cold beer.
mr2mk1g 10 #6 April 19, 2005 There is a low incidence of drug taking in society. Skydiving is a sport with an exceptionally good representational cross sectional of society. As such you will find examples of almost anything in skydiving that you would expect to find in the general population. Thus some skydivers do take drugs... but not because they are skydivers... simply because they are drug takers who happen to skydive.
Dumpster 0 #7 April 19, 2005 1 - Industrial Maintenance Technician. 2 - Drug taking - Other than over-the-counter stuff and whatever 'ol Sawbones prescribes, not usually. (twenty years ago it was another story - ) You'll meet a very wide cross-section in this sport, from the chronically unemployed to doctors and lawyers and kids jumping thier trust funds away, and everything in between. beowulf 1 #15 April 19, 2005 Network Administrator I have never had any interest in drugs, other then alcohol. You find that there are some skydivers that do drugs. But in my opinion there doesn't seem to be any more or less than the over all average percentage of those that do use drugs.
