onechance 0 #1 February 3, 2009 I'm looking for someone/some company that makes and sells emergency procedures training vests for training students during the first jump course and AFF Progression. Needs cutaway and reserve handles and a pocket for a throwout pilot chute. Could be simple or could be as useful as being attachable to a cutaway harness trainer hanging above ground. Anyone know of any out there? Paragear doesn't advertise one...at least online.Paul Cravey D29925 AFF-I/SL-I 808-497-8733
piratemike 0 #2 February 4, 2009 Most places get a old rig that's not jump-able and use that. You might want to ask around for one, it would probably be really cheap or free. Good luck
tdog 0 #3 February 4, 2009 I think an old rig -or- sew a harness to match a rig are the only "good options". I have seen and used vests many times.... But they teach a few key bad habits when they don't have cables and double sided velcro in the main lift webs... Simply, they don't teach the importance of pealing before punching and stripping to full arm extention.
