Buried 0 #1 April 15, 2005 I think i am.. could be the folic acid . break out in a cold sweat drinking orange juice or too much apple juice or other items where it's been added Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?
DrewGPM 0 #2 April 15, 2005 I suppose it's possible. I find it hard to believe, since the body needs vitamin C to survive. Do you have same reaction when you eat an orange or an apple? Just wondering if you are reacting to something the juice makers are putting in that stuff. There is vitamin C in a lot of stuff, like green peppers. Do you have issues when eat them? IanHarrop 42 #7 April 15, 2005 Quotehmm. i knew i was missing something. You alcohol is an antiseptic, if you had an external wound you would apply alcohol to to kill the germs. Since your illness is internal, there is only one way to get the antiseptic to the illness so that the germs can be killed. Believe me, drinking it is the only way, I know. I've spilled plenty of alcohol on myself over the years and it did no good!"Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

IanHarrop 42 #9 April 15, 2005 When you get the cold sweats, drink some alcohol. The sweats are a bodily reaction to drinking things that are supposed to be mixed with alcohol. (There, see. tweak 0 #11 April 15, 2005 As has been said before, you're probably not allergic to a vitamin or mineral that essiential to your body (but I'm no Dr.). Does this only happen by chance when you drink it on an empty stomach? Sometimes when, espically during or after a workout, on an empty stomach if I drink any kind of fruit juice with a high acid content, it will upset my stomach slightly and I will have a small case of the cold sweats.
