J-Rock 0 #1 February 4, 2009 Is the PISA Tempo TSO'd under 23c or 23d? Ive read some earlier posts where people say that have a TSO under 23d though I looked at a copy of a manual that says 23c. Did PISA change the way they manufactured the Tempo just before they merged with Aerodyne and therefore apply for a different TSO? Are there certain models that have spanwise reinforcement? I checked the FAA website but it doesnt give me much other then model numbers, Thanks, J-Rock Im gonna need a bigger hammer....

RIGGER 0 #3 February 4, 2009 The Tempo R family are FAA TSO C23C Category B, the mfg. put a M.G.Weight limit on the lable & a M.D.Speed limit of 130 knots. 3 Spanwise bottom tapes at B,C,D lines were added in 2001. I hope that helps. Be Safe !!!

J-Rock 0 #5 February 5, 2009 So ive been reading around and it seems as though PISA drop tested the Tempo in 2001 with the new reinforcement tape to TSO23d standards but it was never published as such. So if thats true then I found my answer. Thanks for all the help guys Im gonna need a bigger hammer....
JerryBaumchen 1,430 #6 February 5, 2009 Hi koppel, Just because it does not say TSO C23(c) on THAT label does not mean that it does not say it somewhere else on the canopy. I do not have one here to inspect, JerryBaumchen

JerryBaumchen 1,430 #8 February 7, 2009 Hi koppel, In theory one could put 1-2 words on each cell with a Magic Marker. As long as all the required wording was there, they would be good to go. JerryBaumchen
