anthonyfellows 0 #1 February 5, 2009 What is the difference between a "one size fits all" student/rental rigs (as they describe it at my dz) and actual sizing that comes with buying a new container? Or is there a difference? Is it just that buying a new container comes with tailoring to you and every aspect of your body or is there actually a difference in how the container is made?Serious relationships turn into work after a few weeks and I already got a fucking job :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ H.A.F. = Hard As Fuck ... JohnDeere 0 #2 February 5, 2009 Yes there is a BIG diff. The one size fits none at DZ's are adjustable. Regular sport gear is custom made to fit (and not adjustable). If you order custom they will take your measurements and make it for your body. But you can also get used gear that will fit alot better than dz gear. When you look for used you will get someone to measure you and look for used gear that was made for someone your size. You will notice a big diff. from dz gear and gear that is made for you or gear that was made for someone your size! Hope this helps.Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! gearless_chris 1 #3 February 6, 2009 I think you'll find that the dz rigs will have added stuff that you don't need for your own gear. If your dz does AFF they are probably set up with a reserve side handle for the main PC. They may also have places for ripcords if they use spring loaded pilot chutes for the main."If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane.
