DAnderson 0 #1 March 26, 2005 Michele's brother called me today. Her family would like us to do a memorial ash dive on April 10th at 10:am. He is having a bar-b-que at his house afterwards. They are planting a tree for Michele. He wanted me to tell any of her friends out here that they're invited also. He also wanted me to let everyone know how thankful her family was for all of our support. They followed the threads on this site and saw the photos of her first memorial. If anyone wishes to be on this dive, please contact me either at the DZ or by message on this site. Blue Skies. kai2k1 0 #3 March 26, 2005 Hey Dennis, I wish I could be there, but I'll be at SDC for the spring expo. Perhaps I could get some DZ.commers up there to make a memorial dive also. There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan

aprilcat 0 #7 March 27, 2005 This is very sad. She was an active poster and I'm not sure if I met her in Rantoul last year, but she was so enthusastic in her posts and I'm sorry she is gone. Rest in peace, Michelle. I'm glad you found your thrill in life. ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!

linny 1 #10 March 28, 2005 Even though I didn't know Michelle personally, I'd like to be there for support. We're all family as far as I'm concerned. I sure wish I could have gotten to know her. Keep us posted Dennis.

Nightingale 0 #12 March 28, 2005 I met Michele when I was an AFF student. She was a couple of levels ahead of me, or had just passed AFF. I'd posted about being nervous about my first AFF jump, and she went out of her way to talk to me that day. She was such a sweet person. I'd like to be on the ash dive, but I think my jump numbers are probably too low for a large group jump, so I'll be on the ground watching.
DAnderson 0 #13 March 29, 2005 Hey Kai. It would be very cool to tell Michele's family that there are other memorial dives in her name happening in other parts of the country. Thanks all. . "SKYDIVERS HAVE MORE FUN THAN PEOPLE"

VanillaSkyGirl 6 #19 April 6, 2005 I cannot make it this weekend due to prior commitments, that I honestly cannot break. Dennis and I have talked about making a jump in her honor when I do make it out to Perris. Have a beautiful memorial jump in her honor. I will be thinking about her at that time of day and say a small prayer. ~ May Michele rest in peace and fly with the beautiful angels. ~
