Did something like 10 jumps this weekend (I'd have to check my Neptune to be sure). Did a handful of tandems, some FFing and some swooping. All in all not a bad weekend seeing how Sunday was hosed due to weather.

Oh well, atleast its getting to the time of year where we are super fucking busy with tandems and the weather gets better. Both of which make me happy. I love doing tandem jumps.B|B|

1 exceptionally loooooong and exhausting weekend: 2: 0

Attended a coach's course and completed all but sitting in on 2 AFF classes and teaching part of them so I will soon be a coach. B| Got in the 2 "coaching" eval jumps out of the Cessna. Man...it felt sooo good to be back in the air again. B|

150:6:0 (claiming gold wings exemption)

I downsized on Sunday. Put four jumps on a Spectre 150. Four sweet landings, three in the peas, one with the slider behind my head (I'm a real skydiver now!).

6 jumps. 3 sitfly, 2 RW and a tracking dive.

First jump on my new freefly pants.

Great weekend. I'm still smiling. :)

Downsized to a 150. After 14 years. It's good to have roll models that don't feel the necessity to go for the small sheet above their heads just to prove anything to anyone else.

I never checked your profile to see what you fly, I guess I just assumed a tiny thing with over a thousand jumps was flying some little bitty wing. I won't assume again, and it makes me feel Ok that I fly a big, docile puffy cloud and will for a very long time. :)
I want to be like you when I grow up in skydiving. :)

ifyou didn't know lisa was (is) a canopy nazi..... but it's a good idea seeing now a days people tend to die more under canopy than from faulty gear....... it was a sad day when the canopy nazi left and we just had lisa left,... but others carry on the good fight.....lol....

lisa, to bad you don't still work ingear sales, i was lookinginto downsizing frommy 150 to a 59......lol...:P;)... well maybe in a few thousand jumps....

A slow casual weekend...did other things on Saturday and then made a couple 3-way freefly jumps yesterday. It's nice jumping in Washington State, in early March, in Teva's, with no gloves and no sweats under my jumpsuit. :)

Did a 14 way campfire for my 800th and held my first tube! Yup, Debar actually had enough faith in me to let me jump one of his tubes. Damn that thing's hard to hold on to! It was a load of fun though and when I pulled what a surprise to find the tube in the middle of my line twists. HAHAHA! I still managed to kick out of them and get a nice swoop in though.
Byron people kick ass.
Also got an awesome jump in with my roommate. I think he's got to be the best freeflyer I have ever flown with.

Ain't it, though? That amazing weather was about the only thing that felt good about being a Washington (specifically a Snohomish) jumper this weekend. I went w/o gloves for the first time in months.

1 Kickass Skydiver's Wedding:0:0

Spent the majority of Saturday celebrating Keith Larrett's wedding to his Lovely GwenB|. The ceremony was a traditonal short church one, and the reception/party/dance was like a great old reunion of the Skydive Daytona crowd with various Brits and Afrikaaners thrown in.

A very large time was had.;)

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

i don't know how the ratio works

0:0:0 ?

Humps:Jumps:Beer

Humps = number of times you got lucky -or- for those who prefer not to share such details, some other significant number from your weekend.

Jumps = number of times you left an aircraft in flight during the weekend.

Beer = how many cases of beer you owe for firsts done during the weekend.
