Amanduh 0 #1 March 7, 2005 Don't know if anyone else was tuning into ABC. Just had to say that it was an amazing movie. It was a beautiful story, and they could not have picked better actors than who they chose. I am going to buy the book tomorrow; I bet it will be unbelievable. Just my personal opinion. I loved it. Kind of makes you re-think the importance of life...and what you can get out of it...when you don't have much of anything..
flyangel2 2 #2 March 7, 2005 Watching it right now. Don't tell me the ending.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey

skymama 37 #5 March 7, 2005 I watched it too and really enjoyed it. The neighborhood Eatonville really does exist near Orlando. The hurricane scene was something, huh? You usually see something like that on the big screen, not television. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Amanduh 0 #6 March 7, 2005 I completely agree! The hurricane scene was VERY moving. It was so strange how one second they are speaking of their love and then SWOOOOOSH! They are ripped away from each other...when she saw him under water falling I was about to cry...I seriously thought he was after her for her money for the longest time...I didn't trust the character right off the bat...but over time he proved himself and it was so sweet! skymama 37 #7 March 7, 2005 I got a phone call right after the hurricane scene and then caught up when she shot him. What made him go mental on her?She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Amanduh 0 #8 March 7, 2005 After the hurricane hit, they were washed away. She was trying to get up on a piece of wood and there was a mean dog barking at her and he jumped up on it out of the blue and stabbed the dog. The dog turned on him and bit him and they both fell off. Well, after they survived a little while later it was found out that the dog had given him rabies. She was trying to get him to fight the sickness because they wanted to tie him down in order to get the right medicine in him...said he would probably die anyways because it had already taken over.
