TypicalFish 0 #1 March 6, 2005 My estranged wife's mother had a massive stroke at a surprise birthday last night, and was rendered unable to communicate and without much motor control. Fortunately, there was an ER nurse at the party, and they transported her via EMS as quickly as possible. She is 56 years old, and her prognosis right now is a big unknown; she is having an MRI later this morning. Though we have not spoken in awhile, she is truly a wonderful, unique spirit (who very much believes in the power of group positivity); her husband remains a good friend of mine and is quite obviously devastated by the occurence, not to mention the rest of her family. Please send your positive vibes and say a quick prayer (if that is your thing). Thanks in advance.
