Hey everyone,

Well, we made it! The calendar project is in the final editing/layout process and we’ll soon be going to press! I can’t believe it! Mary and I have worked really hard, with lots of great people helping us, and were able to make this vision become a reality! :)
Since you’ve heard from us, we incorporated under the name: Gaia’s Rose, Inc. ( a non-profit company) and have a website (http://www.gaiasrose.org) now too!

What’s even better? Our new website rocks! Not only does it give everyone a sneak peak at the type of pictures they can expect to see in the calendar, but it also has our sweepstakes! Let me tell everyone out loud, Mary is the chick with the connections! She worked magic over the last year to gets lots of great items for us to sell sweepstakes tickets on for you to win! We’ve got things from T-Shirts, hats, and books to Alti-2’s, Canopy coupons, and Container coupons! All of these businesses were so great to donate products to go toward the printing of the calendar –without them we’re not sure how many we’d be ordering for the girls to sell. So please be sure to check out our DONORS page and visit their website – or even better, tell them you saw them on our site and how cool it is that they were so generous! :)
We’ve been in contact with all the JFTC girls already, but here’s how the sales will work. We’re only selling the calendar to the girls who are in JFTC. They in turn will sell the calendar for $30 and use that money toward the money they have to raise to be on JFTC – so the general public will not be able to order through us. But what if you want a calendar and don’t know a JFTC girl? Have no fear! I’m working on a section of the website that will list girls by state (with either email addresses or phone numbers) and you can get in contact with them to get a calendar. Plus, check with manifest at your local DZ, I bet one of the girls in the area would have already told them that they have calendars if someone asks for one. We’ll let everyone know when the girls have their calendars so you can buy some!

Please don’t forget to check out the website, http://www.gaiasrose.org, and all the great stuff in the sweepstakes – the money that is generated from the sweepstakes will go toward the calendar printing, so pretty please be generous! :)
We’re so excited about all of this. It’s been one hell of a ride, but we’ve made it and the calendar is going to kick butt! I’ll tell ya, there are some totally sexy chicks in the skydiving world and they all have hearts of gold! Please show your support by buying one (or more!) of their calendars.

Wow, what a ride:)
Jen is too modest, she do did an awesome job with this calendar. She has been a slave to her computer getting the webstie up and running. Not to mention spending hours and hours working with the photo editor and graphics designer (thanks MaryAnn and Adam). I know zip when it comes to computer type things, and she had done most of the geek work by her self.

I'm up early this morning, 4:00 a.m to be exact, because I'll be catching a flight to Florida, where I'll meet Jen and she will be starting her AFF jumps. It has been years in the waiting for her to be able to do this adventure in her life, and I'm excited to be part of it. My camera and laptop with be close as Jen enters into this new adventure and will keep you all posted.

The girls from the last JFTC are the ones in there...then the next JFTC calendar will have this years girls....and so on :)

Sunny the calendar starts on October of this year and will go through till Dec. of 2006.

BTW, the weather is great here in Florida, I've got shorts on:)
