ChileRelleno 0 #1 February 27, 2005 As some of you may have seen last wednesday in my post "Surgery in the AM" http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1497773;#1497773 I just had all the hardware removed from right Tib/Fib, these were installed after my biffed landing back in 2002 at Skydance (see my post "Crash and Burn"). http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=201749;search_string=Crash%20and%20burn;#201749 I had severley shattered my right tib/fib and it took two (2) plates and fourteen (14) screws to put it back together (neato pics here in my post "x-rays and photos of bad swoop"), http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=216762;search_string=X-rays;#216762 So here are pics of the post-op incisions and the removed hardware positioned as it was in my leg, aprox 1/4lb of titanium. ENJOY! ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

slug 1 #9 February 28, 2005 Hi Chile Nice collection of pics (before & after) & SS Hardware. Going to get to keep the staples? E-bay Auction[] Or JeweleryWas the blister caused by the cast rubbing on your foot after it swelled up? R.I.P.
ChileRelleno 0 #10 February 28, 2005 Not SS, Titanium. No the blister was caused by the swelling from the breaks and surgery, mainly from the breaks and severely aggravated by my lack of being able to keep it elevated and iced. After I broke it(morning) I went to the hospital (all day), then back to the DZ to recover some clothing and whatnot from my truck and make arrangements, then off to the Airport for my flight home (All dag blasted night, with layover) and finally to the hospital for surgery, all in all 24hrs from break to surgery with perhaps 5hrs of elevation. I was severly swollen, hence the major blisters. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

karenmeal 0 #13 February 28, 2005 Hey man! I remember watching that accident happen! I was the packer at Skydance at the time when that happened. I felt so bad that you had to have such a horrible experience at our DZ. I hope it heals quickly man!
