What is YOUR favorite love song?

Recommended Posts

Too many to choose from, but the one I'm listening to right now is one of my favorites - "Freeway" by Toni Price (written by Gwil Owen, I believe)...

"But I'm tired too
so let's make a trade...
I'll help you learn how to leave
if you'll help me learn how to stay...
Don't wait any longer
for time that has flown...
I'll be your freeway
if you'll be my home...."

I have a few:

"Crush" by Dave Matthews
"Hanging By a Moment" by Lifehouse
"Africa" by Toto(?)
Any love-ish song by Fuel
"Love Bites" by ???
"I Promise You, I Will"- Duran Duran, Depeche Mode . . . someone like that

Clearly, I'm not good at knowing who sings the songs that I like. :D

And I have a million more, but those are the only ones I can think of right now.

"Have I Told You Lately" - Rod Stewart
"The Postman Song (Because I Love You)" - Stevie B (I don't care...I like it!)
"When Can I See You Again" - Babyface
"Haven't Seen For Awhile" - Pat McGee
"Advent" - Jackopierce
Almost anything by Sam Cooke...THE writer of love songs (I like "You Send Me," "Cupid," and "Bring It On Home")

I'm a romantic in denial. There are so many love songs that I love! :)
