Good vibes for Eric!!

Recommended Posts

Sorry it has taken me so long to update but for some reason I couldn't get back on last night around1 eastern time.

MORE good news. Eric was down to 40% oxygen at 9 and I am thinking they have continued to slowly lower the oxygen since then. He is fluttering his eyes so eyeryone is hopeful of even more progress today.

As soon as Laurie calls me I'll post another update.

One thing you can do is send a card to Eric. He can't have flowers and all but a card is something that can hopefully show him when he wakes up how much people were pulling for him and love him. Thanks gang. Ltdiver posted the address to the hospital earlier in this thread.

Hey everyone! Good job on the prayers and vibes (keep them coming)! As Lisa posted, Eric is doing much much better...he's not out of the woods but he's definitely making progress! The Doctors have said that his lungs are sounding "wonderful" and he's a miracle!

I have told his family about all the posts, prayers, vibes, good wishes, and how much he is loved! They are especially impressed 'bout the blood donations! His Mom made a comment 'bout if only we could get 150 donations...

I would also like to thank everyone for the family for holding back from bombarding the hospital...as hard as that maybe! Unfortunately, they are only letting family members in and are being very strict about it! Especially now...they are trying to keep his chances of getting pnuemonia and infections to a minimum! Cards are a great idea...wouldn't that be wonderful to have his room filled with cards when he wakes up (plus it'll give him something to read!)

I will definitely keep everyone up to date, as much as possible...through Lisa, because I can't post from the hospital (plus she's fun to talk to and we've kept eachothers spirits up through this whole ordeal!)

Well, enough rambling and back to prayers & vibes!

Hugs & Kisses to all of you!

Thanks for posting the great photos of Eric.
Eric will be in my thoughts every moment of everyday and I will be praying for him. I look forward to seeing him when I return to Perris. NEVER let a day go by without letting your friends and family know how much they mean to you, NEVER pass by without saying hi and giving a hug.
Eric, I send many good vibes!!!

Laurie just called me and Eric has had a wonderful day. He had surgery today and they are slowly putting him back together. Good news is the Dr's say he will be ok. He will have a long recovery but thankfully he will be ok. Eric is such a fighter and he has just won the fight of and for his life.

Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers. I know that is why Eric has done so well. Continue to keep him in your minds through his recovery.

Please learn from this incident and be safe out there.

Room # dunno, but he's in the ICU, so they'll find him. His last name is Denney.

And this is awesome news, and thanks to Lisa and Laurie for keeping us up to date, and the family free to concentrate on more important stuff to them.

Thanks for posting the room number and Eric's last name. I knew his name so I thought you guys did. :P Ok, honestly another of my blonde moments....sorry.

They are going to start waking Eric up tomorrow. He still won't be up for company for a few days especially since they are supposed to do another surgery Thursday. Trust me though you all will be the first to know when he can have friendly visits. I'm sure before this is all over he will be short on patience with the hospital room and be thankful to see a friendly face.
