I opened this thread expecting a joke

Me too because of your personality. I had no idea that you were so talented in the arts, 'Chelle!

It's VERY, VERY GOOD, girlie!!! SERIOUSLY! B| Btw, where do you take your sculpting class? (I have a BFA from Otis Parsons College myself.) :)

Thanks Rosa! I don't take any sculpting classes, I guess you could say art is my "god given talent" :)

Very cool, girl! I had skimmed the post and assumed that you were taking some kind of art class because it looks like a classroom in the background of the pics. I didn't realize that you were doing this at home by yourself. :)
Let me tell you my experience...I also never drew or took any art classes in high school at all, but I decided that I wanted to study at Otis Parsons, so I worked hard on a very thorough portfolio of extremely challenging life studies, etc. (Top art colleges request a very sophisticated and specific portfolio submissions per their request and only accept the top talent into their most challenging programs.) Believe it or not, without having taken courses like all the other accepted students, I was accepted into the #1 apparel design & art college in the US!

'Chelle, you should seriously think about pushing your artistic natural abilities by taking some art courses, yourself. Real artistic talent is not something that can be "taught", but it can be further developed, evolved or pushed to its limits in art classes. You, my dear, are very talented.
:)

Most excellent work!
I used to attend a ceramics workshop in school, I loved working with clay.
I did a dragon bust too, got rave reviews on that piece.
Keep your fingers crossed that it makes it thru the firing:S, I lost a few nice pieces during the bique firing, and even had one go during glazing.
You do anything on the wheel work?

That's awesome! I was really into sculprure when i was a little kid, i made animals, masks and even dragons... only problem was they all ended up as misshapen pencil holders, god bless my dad for having them on his desk at the office for so many years :D
