I got a 1 gig sandisk player for christmas from this guy I happen to know (). It was so simple to use I didn't even have to use the instructions. It holds a TON of music (more or less depending on file types), .mp3 or .wma , has a radio built in (nice for the gym, since the TVs there are set to radio stations to hear them), and has a mini voice recorder in it. It's the size of a clothespin.
Hooks right up to a USB port on the PC, and I use the same connection as my digital camera cable. simple.

Hey Skymama,
Been playing around with these little devices some and so much to choose from. If cost is an issue and you still want quality then I may recommend what I have. Did the readups PCmag, Computer Shopper, Maximum PC etc.
Anyway I like the Iriver for Quality and Sound in a Flash Player. It ROCKS. Check into it you may like.....
Right now there is a Sale at Circuit City for like $99.00 iRiver Rocks

Question, to you MP3 player-savvy people out there:
Can you delete songs and put others on? Or can you just keep adding and adding until you run out of room, and never delete anything? I don't want to buy something with 20 gigs of space if I can just delete songs when I get tired of them.
Thanks!

I bet the harddrive players work the same as my flash player.
I have a software interface (a program) that came with it, and it makes deleting and adding really easy. There are other ways to do it besides the software but thats the easiest.

Yes, all harddrive and flash players allow full flexibilty to remove and add songs. The Dell DJ lets you put data files (such as word docs) on it so you can use to carry work with you if you need too. Some other players allow this as well.
The cool thing about getting 20 gigs? Putting ALL your songs on and never having to use a CD again. And you can hook it up to your car stereo
Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
97%!!! and your parents still gave you the cheep knock offs? lol kiddn
hahaha
My parents spent money instead on making sure we got great vacations evey year and that I did not have to pay for college at all. They made me buy my own cars and the like. I think it was a very good lesson to because I like to think I handle my finances pretty well these days....
except for this whole skydiving thing....what a money pit!
