bisqit999 0 #1 February 24, 2005 So when i was having trouble with AFF...someone told me that it would just "click"....i went snowboarding today for my third time and all I kept hearing from people is that it will eventually just "click". Well..today I had the greatest time. On the second trip up the mountain....all of a sudden i was able to do it! Had the greatest day and now I shall be sore for a few days because I realized today how out of shape I am... I'm sure no one cares about tis but I just felt like sharing a good time I had. NWFlyer 2 #2 February 24, 2005 That happened with me, too, all of a sudden, one day I turned and didn't fall, so I did another one, then another and all of a sudden I was linking them all the way down he mountain. You'll still have some up and down days but once the general concept "clicks", figuring out how to learn from your mistakes is so much easier! Isn't it a great feeling? And I figure, every fall is just a chance to practice my PLFs (albeit a little awkwardly, what with a board attached to my feet and all)"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

bisqit999 0 #4 February 24, 2005 Quoteyou can jump all year round though, right? I haven't had the chance to jump since Oct. We went to Windham mountain in the Catskills NY. Not too much goin on with skydiving in this area this time of year. I'm just glad I finally "got" the snowboarding thing. I've tried 2 other times and I vowed that this would be my last time if I didn't get it.
