bmcd308 0 #1 February 22, 2005 I know there are lots of techno listeners and even a few djs here, so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask - I heard a really cool techno song this weekend. I don't know of any way to describe it that differentiates it from other techno songs except that it contains an electronic voice that periodically says "I want to rock your body right now." Anyone care to guess? Thanks. Brent ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com
Slurp56 0 #2 February 22, 2005 Ferry Corsten - Rock your body, rock I am sure its a remix of another song, but thats probably the version you heard. Here is a music video, is it the right one? http://mcms-delivery.virtuebroadcasting.com/deliverMedia.asp?id=70244D32-FF72-4A9F-A83A-194FE91F8F9D________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw. AggieDave 6 #3 February 22, 2005 Was it "beep, bloop, bleeeeeeep, blepblepblepblep, bleooooooopppp?" Try: Ferry Corsten "Rock Your Body Rock" EDIT: Damn, I had the reply window up and was googling for the song title while the first reply was being posted. http://www.ukdancerecords.com/searchresultsNEW2.asp?keyword=Tsunami That has a audio sample on it.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AggieDave 6 #5 February 22, 2005 Once again, its knowing how to use Google. I've never heard the song before or even heard of the song, BUT understanding how Google works and how results are driven gets you answers fast.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Slurp56 0 #6 February 22, 2005 I googled too I knew the name of the song but couldnt remember who the DJ was.________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.
bmcd308 0 #7 February 22, 2005 I was more sure about the exact phrase in the lyric than I should have been, which trashed my own google search. ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com
AggieDave 6 #8 February 22, 2005 Naw, that phrase is used in the lyric, but its not used in the song title. I broke the lyic down into the "major" words (your body rock) and looked at the results. I assumed that it was a newer song since you didn't know it and looked at the links that had something to do with "top 40" sort of pages. Then I was able to use the provided audio clips to find the exact song.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AggieDave 6 #11 February 22, 2005 The first time you saw a rave had to be very very odd... "WTF are those people doing? Oh, they're music playing? Hmmmm...veird..."--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
BillyVance 34 #12 February 22, 2005 HA! Well, I make it a rule that if I'm going to go to a concert, it has to be known to be bone-rattling loud! [Laugh] Say, I never got a answer to another post in a different thread, but do you know who and what song does these lyrics belong to? WAR! UHN! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing! Just curious anyway, I thought it sounded like SHIT, but that's just me... AggieDave 6 #14 February 22, 2005 Yeah. Edwin Star "War" it was his war protest song for the Vietnam war, BUT it was written in 1971 and was pretty much laughed at by the music community since it took so long for him to release a protest song. Its actually kind of a cool song, pretty obscure until it was used in a very popular movie a few years ago.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." [Laugh] I also recently saw it used in Cody Banks 2, sung by kids for Queen Elizabeth and her guests...
