This could only happen to me

Recommended Posts

Tuesday I bought two used trucks from a lumber company. They're flat beds with dumps. They said I could have them next week when there new ones come in. I was very excited since they are far better than anything I've ever owned and the price was right.:)
Fast forward to today.

I came in to eat lunch and turned on the TV to watch the noon news. The top story was man crushed between truck frame and body while delivering lumber.:o I turned and there on the TV was the truck I had just bought[:/]

Now what should I do? It wouldn't be the first thing I've owned that someone has been killed with but, it's still sort of creepy.:S

Seriously though, people die, that's life. If the vehicle isn't damaged, what's the problem?

A good car wash wouldn't hurt either.

At least the blood or whatnot is on the outside. If someone died a bloody death inside a vehicle, you're never getting the smell out, no matter what you do. B|

Yeah, the trunk of my old car never smelled the same. Which is why I drive a pickup now.

The first jumpsuit I owned was third hand. The first owner had nearly bounced in it (low night opening, broke both legs), and the second owner had rushed to buy his jumpsuit from him because what were the chances of a jumpsuit bouncing twice :o

It must have worked; he's still around.

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

Thankfully, I'm not, but a friend bought an almost new car at such a great price. It started to smell bad a couple days later. Did everything possible to rid the smell. Finally confronted the seller, who admitted his dad had a heart attack alone in the car and wasn't found for 4 days. [Pirate]
